Community

For more than 85 years, the Garden Study Club of New Orleans has made an impact by contributing time and money to the beautification and environmental improvement of the Greater New Orleans area.  Whether we are digging in the dirt at NOCCA; learning about community gardening at Sprout NOLA; creating flower arrangements for the New Orleans Botanical Garden; cleaning up in City Park; decorating Poydras Home for the holidays; visiting one of our many donation recipients; or fostering a general love of gardening, we are always working to make our City even more beautiful! Through our two main fundraisers, Caladium Bulb Sales and Art in Bloom, the Garden Study Club is able to make monetary donations to several philanthropic organizations throughout the New Orleans area.  On a yearly basis, the Garden Study Club donates more than $100,000 to more than a dozen organizations, including some of the following:
